Situated on Ware Cliffs that overlook Lyme Bay, our cottage will be able to sleep 4 people offering a homely living and dining area with views out towards the sea. The cottage has a secure garden area (for your furry friends to run around) as well as alfresco dining, an outdoor hose off area and importantly a car parking space!
Being just a 10 minute walk into town, we think this property will be extremely popular in 2025 and we’ll soon be bringing this online for bookings.

The location of this property is perfect for families wanting that little bit more space, as well as being slightly out of the hustle & bustle Lyme Regis provides in the peak months.
You’ll be situated on Ware Cliffs which are the Cobb side of Lyme Regis. Ware Cliffs are inside the Devon border at the start of the section of South West Coast Path known as the Undercliff, which runs between Seaton and Lyme Regis. The area is predominately open meadow land and woodland preserved by the National Trust, making it a perfect spot for dog walking and coastal strolls. You’re able to walk down from Ware Cliffs to Lyme Regis, which takes you out near The Powerboat Club, or there’s a route that goes past Holmbush Car Park as well as just walking down Sidmouth Road.
The cottage provides an idyllic, peaceful and quiet place to unwind, as well as giving space for families to nestle into for their holidays to Dorset.
We’re very excited to share another, and a different addition, to our other homes in Lyme Regis! The cottage, with car parking and still being a short walk into the centre of town, is a property that will be very popular for families and those wanting slightly more space away from the bustle of Lyme Regis.
Cliff View Cottage is perfect for families wanting a UK summer holiday by the sea, a long weekend away to the Dorset coast or couples and solo travellers looking for a well-sized, dog friendly place to stay to explore the Jurassic Coast. The property is all on the same floor with no stairs required. The cottage has its own front door and a car parking space (which are extremely rare in Lyme Regis!).
Inside, the interiors are a very traditional and cosy cottage feel, with two good sized bedrooms (one being a double, and the other providing two single beds). The bedrooms have a soft, luxurious carpet underfoot, and both have bay windows looking out towards Ware Cliffs and the sea. There are two bathrooms, one that provides full shower, toilet and sink close to the kitchen and the other offering a toilet and hand washing sink.
The kitchen has everything you could want for your holiday away, with a generously sized fridge, nespresso machine for those morning coffees, a toaster, kettle, hob/oven and microwave.
The living area is homely, again with a beautiful view out to Ware Cliffs and the Jurassic Coast, with a comfy sofas, a dining table, smart TV for those cosy family evenings in, as well as a desk with fibre internet for any who like to work remotely. We’ve provided a selection of board games and puzzles, as well as books/magazines on the local area.
The garden area is very well sized, private and secure. With bursting evergreens, high hedges and an alfresco dining table and chairs, this is perfect for your summer evneings and gets the sun setting late into the day. There will also be a hosing off area for the sandy gear (and your furry friend if they need it!)
Cliff View Cottage is a pet friendly property and we’d love to welcome your furry friends. We can accept up to two dogs, please add these to your booking form when making a bookng. The garden is secure and spacious for your dogs, all we ask is that your dog waste is cleaned up and disposed of, and the inside is treated respectfully.
