Love Lyme Regis’s photos shows this property on Marine Parade in its element back in the 1950s, standing tall looking out to sea called Cobb House, we’ve completed a renovation of the ground floor and is now available for booking from April 2025!
Just a few strides from the sea front, and having such a large, secluded garden area, this could become our most luxurious property yet. Cobb House can sleep 4 people with ease offering a generously sized, open plan living and dining area. This opens out into the secluded garden, which has a hot tub and outdoor shower, as well al fresco dining, a dog washing station, storage space for the wet suits and body boards, all less than 100 yards to the sandy beach.
Being so close to the sea front, you have an abundunce of local restaurants, pubs & cafes all on your doorstep and we’ve made an arrangement nearby for parking that can be booked prior to your stay.

The location of this property is fantastic! You’ll be situated on the western side of Marine Parade, close to some local favourites including The Harbour Inn, The Cobb Arms, Poco Pizza, SWIM and the historic 400 year old pub The Royal Standard. You can see a number of our favourite places to eat & drink in Lyme Regis here.
Marine Parade runs from Cobb Gate, below Bell Cliff at the town end, to the bonded warehouses at The Cobb, and is home to some of Lyme’s most interesting properties. Beneath Marine Parade is Cart Road, which was the route for goods between The Cobb harbour and the town. Although dating mainly from the 19th century, the houses along the parade vary considerably in style.
After what has been our biggest and most challenging renovation yet, we’re very excited to share our latest addition of our homes from home in Lyme Regis! The secluded, spacious garden so close to the beachfront, is what we saw to be the perfect way to spend time with your family and friends in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Lyme Regis.
Cobb House is designed perfectly for families wanting a UK summer holiday by the sea, a long weekend away to the Dorset coast or for groups looking for a well-sized, dog friendly place to stay to explore the Jurassic Coast. This garden apartment has everything on your door step, surrounded by local restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.
The property has its own front door. Inside, the interiors have a very traditional cottage feel, with two good sized bedrooms as you enter. The bedrooms have a luxurious carpet underfoot whilst the rest of the property is stone tiles with underfloor heating to give that extra bit comfort on in the colder months. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom looking out to the garden and the second bathroom is located on on the opposite side of the hallway to the master bedroom.
On the other side of the property is where the open plan living and dining area awaits. The generously sized kitchen makes it easy for those cosy nights in, and with the spacious living and dining area right beside it, its a perfect way to spend your quieter evenings. There’s a smart tv for your online streaming applications, as well as board games and puzzles for the younger ones.
Through the glass doors at the back of the property, you’ll find the garden of your dreams! With evergreens, potted rosemary and lavender, this is a garden of paradise! There are two main decking areas; one to provide alfresco dining table and chairs, with the other offering a hot tub sunk into the decking and a beauitfully crafted pathway to connect the two areas. The garden also features an outdoor showering area to wash off the sandy toes (and your furry friend’s paws) as well as ample storage for wet suits and body boards. The beautiful hot tub is a perfect place to relax in with your friends and family, with an overhead pergola for additional privacy.
Cobb House is a pet friendly property and we’d love to welcome your furry friends. We can accept up to two dogs, please add these to your booking form when making a bookng. The garden is secure and spacious for your dogs, all we ask is that your dog waste is cleaned up and disposed of.
